Sound-Remix Workshop

This January, we hosted a hands-on Sound Mixing Workshop that offered students a rare, behind-the-scenes look into the world of film audio.

We were honored to welcome Daniel Mansour—Audio Engineer and Professor at Humber College—as our special guest speaker. Daniel shared professional insights on the role of sound in film, covering topics such as Foley creation, ambient layering, and how thoughtful audio design can amplify emotion and drive narrative.

Students had the opportunity to try out industry-standard audio gear, experiment with real sound samples, and experience firsthand how sound transforms storytelling.

It was an inspiring and immersive session that helped our students not only understand but truly hear films in a whole new way.
