Silver Clay Workshop

In our monthly workshop for September 2024, students explored the fascinating world of silver clay—an innovative material prized for its high value and extraordinary malleability. Guided by an experienced instructor, participants first observed a live demonstration and learned about the properties of silver clay, including how it can be easily shaped into detailed designs before being kiln-fired into solid silver. Each student then designed and crafted their own unique piece of jewelry, gaining both technical skills and creative confidence. The hands-on experience not only introduced students to contemporary jewelry-making techniques but also allowed them to turn a lump of clay into a meaningful, wearable piece of art.
