🧸 February Recap | Valentine’s Plush Toy Workshop
This February, love and creativity came together in our Valentine’s Plush Toy Workshop.
Led by a fashion design graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), students were guided through the full process—from sketching and cutting to sewing their very own plush creations.
Each student proudly brought their handcrafted toy home as a heartfelt Valentine’s Day gift, marking not just a lovely memory, but also a hands-on exploration of fashion and 3D design.

January Recap | Exploring the Magic of Film Sound with Daniel Mansour
This January, we hosted a hands-on Sound Mixing Workshop that gave students a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of film audio.
We were honored to welcome Daniel Mansour – Audio Engineer and Professor at Humber College – as our special guest speaker.
Daniel shared insights into the art of sound design in film, including Foley creation, ambient layering, and how audio can amplify emotion and narrative.
Students even had the chance to try out real audio gear and experience the power of sound in storytelling.
An inspiring and immersive session that helped our students hear films in a whole new way.

The Art of Time: Coffee Scrub Soap Workshop Highlights
In November, students participated in a coffee scrub soap workshop, where they crafted their own natural coffee soaps and embedded heartfelt messages within. Over time, these hidden words will gradually reveal themselves, transforming the soap into a piece of time-inspired art. It's more than just soap—it's a thoughtful creation and a journey into the art of mindfulness and creativity.
October Workshop
Our October monthly workshop featured a festive Halloween-themed icing cookie session, where students had the chance to unleash their creativity. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, they learned various icing techniques, including piping, flooding, and adding intricate details. Each student then designed and decorated their own set of Halloween cookies, ranging from spooky ghosts and pumpkins to whimsical witches and bats. The workshop not only allowed participants to practice their artistic skills but also provided a fun, hands-on way to celebrate the Halloween spirit. Everyone left with their own delicious, personalized creations to share with family and friends.

September Workshop
In our monthly workshop for September 2024, students delved into the art of working with silver clay, a precious and remarkably malleable material ideal for custom jewelry. Following an instructor-led demonstration, participants learned about silver clay's unique qualities—its high value and ease of shaping, which allow for intricate, personalized designs. Each student then crafted their own silver clay jewelry piece, enjoying the hands-on experience of transforming the luxurious, moldable material into a meaningful, wearable creation.
